Empowering Equality Named Coordinators (ENCOs) in enhancing teaching and learning
Three Work Based Learning Providers, one Work Based Learning Consortium and an FE College have worked together on this equality and diversity project. In Touch Care and Michaeljohn have worked together previously on the Equality Framework way back with LLUK. The expertise and experience of the two providers were maximised in the following arrangements. In Touch Care partnered with BowlingCollege and Prospects Training to share and develop their work on ENCO activity within teaching and learning. Michaeljohn and West Yorkshire Learning Provider (WYLP) Consortium partnered together to explore how equality and diversity were embedded into their Learner Journeys. Both of these activities have been extremely effective in sharing best practice relating to equality and diversity and its link with teaching and learning. The best practice from the two sub-groups is now being shared to support continuous improvement across the five providers.
