Identifying effective practice in individual learning profiles, group profiles and their use in planning for learning
Great emphasis is placed on the need for effective planning for individualised learning by Ofsted. In order for this to happen, organisations need to have effective processes in place to first identify the needs of individual learners. Providers invest significant time and energy into initial assessment and diagnostic testing of learners, but all too often, the outcomes of these processes are not used to best effect. The aim of this project was to identify what good practice looks like in terms of identifying the needs of learners and making best use of this information to effectively plan learning that meets those needs.
