The learning framework provides a common vocabulary for learning within any educational institution. At its core, it develops an holistic approach to learning, integrating induction of staff, professional learning, coaching, focussed CPD conferences and impact assessment. The learning framework defines four layers to allow for the leading of learning with an emphasis on research evidence to inform practice, teaching and learning strategies.
At the centre of the learning framework is The Learning Cycle or CSPARr, with identifies a clear structure to a lesson and the learning process. The Learning Cycle allows for clear expectations of professional standards and behaviours to be set, which has been demonstrated to improve success rates and high grades.
