Welcome to the Learning Consortium MOODLE. The Learning Consortium is a collaboration between Further Education providers, led by South Essex College.
The consortium leads have developed and implemented The Learning Framework, a powerful model for continuous improvement in teaching and learning based on peer coaching approaches which evidence shows are highly successful. Two groups of people are trained in the Learning Framework: senior leaders, in order to maximise organisational impact and secure a commitment to the implementation of the Framework and practitioners. The practitioners are teachers, tutors, trainers and managers who are trained to develop, qualities and skills to support the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning practice through the development of higher level teaching skills in learners using the Learning Cycle (more of which anon).
In addition, there are opportunities to participate in Learning Forums to promote discussions on Teaching and Learning, benefit from grants in support of action learning sets, a summer school and a National Conference.
